Does any one know where i can get hold of these?

Just curious what building regs they have to stick to, as had a few question pop up in my head and one pet hate...

Board adehsive around back boxs, really bugs the hell out of me. but a plaster i know told me recently its to prevent any "flash back/sparks" escaping the box...

now to me what a load of rubbish that is..

Cheers :)

Nope, well not entirely. We did some flats a while back and all boxes had to be flush with the front of the plasterboard to comply with some regulation or other due to the possibility of sparks starting fires in cavities and behind boards.

Fairly certain that if your back box is correctly fitted and marries up to the socket rather than being 6" behind the plasterboard then there isn't a need for the plasterer to come and bond round it, but that's up to the electrician rather than the plasterer to look after.

I would assume any regulations drywalls would have, will be totally building regulations.

That is sound and insulation. There would be no electrical regulations they would cover and would not be expected to.

Drywall adhesive as far as I know is not a recognised anti flash or spark inhibitor and I doubt it would ever be recommended as such.
