... the sex offenders appeal process to allow / approve sex offenders the name on the register to be removed is not what the uk people want, the more signature that we get the more the chance of showing the high courts and the government that people want to protect their children against these monsters. many thanks colin.

To what monsters do you refer?

In our area of the country, there was a case recently where a 14yr old boy got his 15yr old girlfriend pregnant. Her parents insisted on a prosecution. His name is now on the Sex Offenders Register. Is this boy one of these "monsters"? Should he never have any opportunity to have his name removed?

There are issues with the 2 posts I have liked, Badge, I agree, PC I agree!

This is not quite such a simple issue to be black & white.

Badge you are correct that sex offending monsters, such as adult rapists IMHO should be on the regster for life.

PC you are correct in that IMHO this boy should not be on the register for life, if at all, if he is why is she not, after all she had sex with a minor also.

You are quite correct Sidey, but I cannot support any campaign which simply plays on our emotions to gain support whilst being extremely low on factual content.

Remember, many innocent people were hanged for murder. Do we want to go back to that kind of justice?

im with PC on this. some people should be kept locked up, but there are cases where people shouldnt be listed
