evening all,

just want some of you to look at this price and see if its ok.

replace cooker with hob only

new feed for builtin oven

install new exstractor hood

about 15m of cable, run under floor boards with carpet to lift/put down.

supply parts

dot & dab walls

Sounds like a budgie job to me.

( cheep, cheep).

Materials, okay ( maybe) - are you supplying materials at cost?

Labour - how long do you expect it to take (including testing & certifying)?

How much per hour do you want to make?

How much travelling? (including assessing the job!)

yeah, i though it was cheep too, i'm sure these people are cheepskates though and would rather earn 100 than nothing.

parts, i normaly round things up, if a socket is, say, 3.45 i will charge a fiver, so i make a bit but nothing great

I know times are tough at the moment, and work is short, but I would price according to what the job is worth, not what you think will get you the job. seems a good days work there to me so charge for it.

We can't afford to keep driving each other down or we'll all end up working for nothing.

i agree with you bez people dont haggle about the hourly rate at your local garage which im sure charge alot more than most of us!

i spent hours fitting a extractor the other day some are a complete nightmare, watch out for them.

 
does the chimney go to the ceiling? does it have coving? this is where my problems began and went on... and on
