Protecting the tails

i woudlnt bother with an RCD on the tails at that. if they were chasing into wall or few metre then yes, but not if there going straight into a board

unless the board is metallic?

As far as I know it is a plastic jobbie. CAn i take it that an RCD is not required if it is a plastic board?

If it's a plastic board and short tails then they don't need RCD protection

HI INT board fitted with an RCBO ? DP protection and all that,

if its social housing then different sparks doing different things wouldnt be unusual.
