Every boiler with a pump connection does this need a pump live from the wiring centre?

A lot of the newer pumps don't need a live at all.....

or....

But the velcro ones are safer than using lives and neutrals!!

and they can be disconnected in less than 0.5sec

And some can be used as poor-mans breast implants when you have finished pumping!!!

Dunno where you stick any lives though....

Perhaps I should look at the instruction book ????????

May be you should change the heading.

Sorry - was anyone UN-friendly above?

There may not be anything in the way of constructive answers; but there are two damn good reasons for that.

1. The post doesn`t have a question that allows for a constructive answer.

2. The O/P regularly posts ill thought out, poorly constructed, or nonsensical posts - what would YOU suggest we all do? Perhaps YOU can answer r.b`s question(s)?

I cannot - half the time I don`t even understand what is being asked (i.e. the O/P).

You could put your answer here, for r.b. to read - rather than just criticise others.

Personally, the only other thing I can do is ignore r.b.`s posts altogether - and THAT really wouldn`t be friendly.

Why ???

It doesn't matter how friendly any forum is.....

You will ALWAYS get on ALL forums people who posts could be classed as a fine line balance between..

incompetent or wind-up merchants or Trolls or plain old time wasters...

its NOT rocket science to look back over any members previous post content and draw your own conclusions....

(go on have a look at r.b's past record!!!!)

{sorry...  you clearly think he is a competent person asking valid questions while charging customers for his time!!!}

Also why not go and look at the 1000's of other threads posted by other members where a sensible question has been asked and very constructive discussion and debate has proceeded....

I don't EVER recall you posting on those threads "Oh what a good forum this is.. It certainly is living up to its name as freindly"...

But then... Forums also get those who spend more time posting criticism about how others have answered a thread rather than actually answering it themselves!!

Are you a practising electrician? If you are you will realise this is a pointless question (Every boiler with a pump connection does this need a pump live from the wiring centre?) Obviously it will depend on a lot of things what sort of boiler, what wiring system, does the boiler ask for this or does the boiler control the pump all this information will be in the instructions of the boiler. How will a forum know this information we are not psychic.
