I was reading a thread last night (cant find it now) but someone suggested how to make the cables longer in a CU by either crimp or push fit connectors.

Does anyone know where to get the push fit ones or are these the type you crimp a male spade and female spade and push fit them together ??

Thanks

Chas

Panel buiders have for a long time used push fit connectors.

Wago pronounced vago do some very good connectors which I have used in pattress boxes.

There are now enclosed units with cable clamps and push fit commectors which comply with the regulations regarding inaccessable conectors, rememeber any cable connection that is by a screw has to be accessable for maintenance and inspection, push fit are non maintenance so do not need to be accessable.

Thanks Andy... Did not realise wago were the ones to look for I have seen them before but did not know what they called them.

Cheers :Y
