Qualifying exams question .

Our occasional apprentice has been told that before he can sign in to do his NVQ 3  &  AMD  he now has to do some kind of computer course  , something like IVT   :C     Has he been told correctly or can he just dive straight into the NVQ  ?

What is IVT? 

If app has lvl2 then should be able to do lvl3 and AM2 I'd have thought without much else?

I may have mis-remembered the actual initials   :innocent      Its a short course on operating a computer I believe .    Why should he have to do that ?

Because the portfolio will probably be done online. And there's no point in doing it if he can't use a computer. When i was doing it you were exempt if you had IT at GCSE or A-Level.

I dont have any fancy pancy courses, but I still manage enough to annoy plenty of people on tinterweb,  :C

ICT - basic computer skills. Given the younger generations upbringing with PCs I can't understand why this lettuced is still in the syllabus

I thought the same TBH   .....he could probably teach the course ...........why he even knows more than I do   :innocent
