Question For Stepps

Any idea why the Download Helper  you recommended has stopped working ?     

The three circles are there as the icon but they're not revolving , seem to be greyed out .

They usually do that when a Youtube video has a copy encription , but today it won't work at all .    Been working great for a couple of years.

Any ideas?

Maybe needs an update,

I did notice mine had updated a while back,

btw, I have no idea how to update anything on a Windows computer,

I simply type

sudo apt-get update

on mine, doesn't get much easier or straightforward than that,

W9 has been given a miss going straight to 10

If I click on the icon I get a box saying  " No media found for quick download"

have you be any chance opened up the filter where you can set the type of stuff you can download and clicked 'block all' or something similar ?
