RCD CU change or not

i have been asked to install some garden lighting and power. there are already two existing feeds that are no long in use. Both feeds are 2.5mm 3 core swa.

they are both protected my a single 30mA rcd unit.

becuase i will be extending the circuit, will i need to change the CU, so lighting is on one circuit and power on the other...

I think i know the answer but just wanted to double check.

One RCD protecting two circuits is fine , its only the garden after all .
