Hello chaps,

Basic question but just want to confirm.

I am fitting a rcd unit tomorrow, I have the enclosure but it has no earth bar, is a connector block ok to use?

I suppose it would be if you could fit it inside the enclosure to protect the connection from damage.and it is of the correct rating for the live conductors of the circuit used..............why dont you use a through connector and crimp it ?

Yeah that is one way, but will also have the earth from the met so may try to squeeze a earth block in. Next time I do a cu change I'm stripping the old one down for parts

couldnt you get a bigger enclosure and use din rail connectors?

Is there room on the din rail for a din mounted terminal block
