Replacing ceiling rose with new light

When wiring a new brass light the couplers should be in a enclosure.The couplers will not fit in brass fixing .Is it ok to put wiring couplers in ceiling ?

i am unsure what you mean by couplers but all electrical terminations must be in a suitable enclosure. a chocobox will probably surfice for your situation.

Couplers = connectors I guess , use small JB and stuff it in the ceiling.

wont a chock box/JB make to big a hole for the new fitting?

Get a small 20 Amp one and you can slide it in to the ceiling on its side should be able to cover the hole with base of fitting
