I'm about to change the day rate (peak) CU in an Economy 7 set-up. Luckily I think the main 'fuse' fairies have been, but I was wondering how to reset the mechanical time clock (Horstmann type in glass fronted case) afterwards - not done it before. Any pointers. Thanks.

Just been to a similar situation last week. As the timer was sealed, I instructed the customer to contact the supplier to get it re set/checked. One thing taking a main fuse out but another one tampering with metering equipment (as it changes the tariffs over it could be advantageous to be able to 'accidentally have it on low rate all day!)

hi

i agree with the previous in that it has a mechanical spring reserve.

the time should be showing GMT what ever the time BST/GMT with the on time 12.30am and off time 7.30am
