Retro fittings

Hello Everyone.

I have a client who would like bakelight switches with wood backing plate. I have never dealt with these before would the wood back plate be a problem???? Flammable???

The write up say's they are supplied with an adaptor to provide direct fitting onto standard back boxes.

So I shouldn't think you'll have to much of a problem.

Stick 'em in ECASAM , I'm 99% sure they compy with all the carp . I fitted some sockets ,sprs and switches with , instead of the usual plate, Brass, chrome etc. were of polished oak , full BS .

If they weren't compliant with relevant regs.....

I think you would find the supplier would be out of business rather quickly!
