Got an email asking why I don't use this site anymore did not remember using it. However used old email address, and common password, and all worked so clearly I have used this in the past.
Forced to retire due to industrial injury but still take an interest from time to time do odd days pat testing but that is about it.
When working preferred commercial but worked in all sorts from tunnel boring machine electrician to house bashing although today house bashing is really the wrong name there is some technical stuff being fitted.
Did fair bit of PLC work writing programs for concrete press from scratch then after went to Uni to learn the way it should be done.
Worked abroad a lot Algeria, Hong Kong and Falklands although latter two very British. Petrochemical, Airports, and Power Stations have been most of the large jobs but some odd ones like 7 Bridge.
Kept updated with C&G 2391 and 2382 plus PAT testing one can’t remember number but have not bothered to buy amendment 1 although still member of IET just not got around to cancelling.
So that about sums up me. Well early on was a mechanic then auto electrician but so long ago really lost those skills now.
