Hello, I am just registered here. I hope someone can give me some advice?

The above controller which I have on my heating system has, as I have read elsewhere, become very noisy. It still works but I feel the need to renew it with some other less noisy alternative. As no doubt it will soon fail.

My question is does any one know of an alternative that is compatible with the Sangamo M5 back plate and wiring set up? Or am I expecting to much.

I quite fancy a new digital set up, as they seem to offer much more options than my old mechanical clock type.

The controller is in the kitchen and the stat is in the hall way. The whole system is about 30 years old. Baxi wall mounted boiler and three way valve, with a hot tank in the attic.

Any advice appreciated thanks in advance folks. ; O) ))

Not good news. On their own website they list no direct replacements and say "Alternatives use own back plate and do not fit onto existing back plate. See Programmer Compatibility Chart"

Sorry.
