Screwits

Talking about screwits , who was? , someone this morning, oh right ...anyway ...Screwits......we find them under the floorboards all the time , specially on lighting and everyone mutters , look at these bloody things , dead rough ,these.... but in all the years I have never found any that were not still doing their job . Just an observation , I know they are not even taped up but there you go.

I think they were ok on stranded cables as they can be twisted in themselves but not good on solid conductors.

When I find `em, they go in one of my boxes - AFAIAC they`re a compression joint, and damn good at it, too.
