doesnt look too bad

It a tad heavy, to say my main one is only 2.4kg (its 110v too) i prefer 110v stuff for a few reasons.

The heavier drills have a much better impact ratio though.

All depends what your going to do with it

I have the exact one, it only comes out for jobs that my battery drills wont do.

As it doesnt get that much use i decided that this budget one would be a good buy - but when i do need it - its worth its weight in gold

You even get a spare set of brushes, and ive found nothing it wont tackle, I knocked down my small garden wall and replaced it with fencing, and this drill chisellled the holes through the footings to set my concrete posts into.

Its definately paid for itself 10 times over

I have a Titan drill that looks exactly the same. It's a good basic drill, but the lack of safety clutch can be a bit dodgy when core-drilling - take a very firm grip :| .

Personally I think I would spend a few extra quid and buy the Erbuar equivalent, which comes with a 2 year guarantee.

If its occasional / diy work - it isn`t bad, although this drill is manufactured by another company, and branded up as titan / draper / blackspur etc. You may find that, as a titan or blackspur you`d get a better price.

I used to have one, and killed three; stone dead, in a matter of 6 weeks. The shop was getting iffy; so I bought the 2kg dewalt for about

I've got a Metabo equivalent - cost about 300 quid - Complete load of crap!

Its broke twice, clutch slips all the time :(

Now started to think budget drills are best - after one year throw them away!

O.

at that weight, you will regret using that for chasing before you finish the first socket.

my 2kg drill is good for chasing. 24v sds is about 4kg, and that weight isnt very comfotrtable (although the cordless is only ever used for little chases, otherwise its mains)

i have a 110v makita (bout
