It does look good and the price looks good but I would

prefer to see a bracer at the back to give some rigidity.

Darn sight quicker than building them.....................like I did my last lot!

Mind these were for a very narrow space just inside the garage to put the regularly used car stuff. Made from some free 50x50x3 galv RSA, old floor boards and some roof battens. Not shown but X braced at the back with 1"x1" RSA.

I would prefer yours.  The whole lot

looks a good deal more rigid.

A narrow piece of unistrut would be just the job for them shelves from makro.

I scored what I thought was a load of Unistrut singles one time. Spied it sitting at the bottom of a pile of other stuff to be scrapped. Asked if I could take it and told no problem. All going good and I was fishing out lengths of 20mm galve tube etc. When I got to the bottom of the pile it was 90% Double Channel non-slotted stuff. Took it anyway and have drilled a few spot welds out for projects since!

My bro bought about 5 of these from makro in charlton and they are good value for money but need bracing together. They are in two halves so you can make a bench out of a pack or a double height shelve.

+1 bacon they need to be braced as they do move a bit :)

I've just been GIVEN a 10'x8' cedar shed. Years old & needs a few bits of shiplap replacing here and there but tbh it's pretty much as good as new. (My older, richer brother has now got a 10'x12') Was thinking of the shelves for this. The plan is to have this for pure storage and nothing else i.e NOT as a workshop per se. At the moment I can't get in the garage for stored stuff and one (buried) Capri. The old stable block which is a wreck anyway has woodworking tools in there; radial arm saw, planer, band saw etc. The trouble is that any stuff stored in there gets covered in sawdust. I dream of the day everything will be in panel bins and SORTED! Then a nice clear garage to play with the cars!
