You can change the 'view' in the logo software so that it lays out in ladder logic. I find most electricians can follow and understand this a lot easier than statement lists or function blocks. Most probably because most electricians can read electrical schematics. 

Just took a snippet of one rung from my last logo project a couple of years ago. Running effectively an extraction system.

tbh, i find function blocks easier than ladder

And also with the Logo you can link timers and aux triggers in the function view. Not sure if you can do this with ladder logic?

Certainly can. 

In fact once done in ladder or function there is an option of the software converting it between the two. Although it never lays it out well. The software is very primitive, but that's all it needs to be for something this simple.
