I forgot, I also have a pair of Stanley pump pliers which I'm not keen on, the quality of the slip joint isn't great so maybe avoid those.
Depending on what type of work you're predominantly doing it might be worth looking at adjustable vice grips as well. We have a set of Facom and we use them regularly when dismantling pumps etc.
