Wasters the lot of them. I used to be one, my sister still is and I spent the last 15 yrs working club / pub doors with these over armed idiots. Easiest job in the world and all the benefits they shouldn't get - big pension, golden handshake, cheap cars, insurance, paid holiday, and a silly salary for eating donuts. Broke both wrists playing rugby and needed surgery. Hadn't been in long so called it a day. Now it is full of jumped up egotistical wimps who can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag if their lives depended on it. So many times I have had to 'subdue' aggressors on a Fri night with my 'skills' because the copper with the baton and CS gas is too damn afraid to get stuck in. No time for them. Policing just ain't what it was. Now it's all paper work and 'targets'. Not bitter though lol!

that is about 5 mins from my house, i saw this on the local papers website that usually hates everyone and everything finding issues with all of them but they were quite impressed with these coppers. apparently joining in for 5 minutes(thats all they were there for) did more for public image than anything else could have done, it showed them as real people.
