Anyone else got any today?

Started snowing here about 6:25pm tho it has stopped now.

The kids have been outside playing, pelting me with snowballs!! :(

It can disappear now for all i care and come back xmas eve or xmas day, now that would be a first. :D

The roads are still covered, its only a few cm but it doesnt seem to be melting even tho cars have been driving around.

We had sleet about 3pm ish.

on way to first job at 0800 there were cars passing me covered in snow. got to job and it started snowing, i thought i may end up getting snowed in. back closer to home, had sleet on/off all day, some of it still lying

Well im hoping the schools not closed tomorrow because its the last day of freedom from the kids, so i, no i mean WE have got to get everything for xmas sorted tomorrow as its arkward doing it when the kids are home, they worse than a guy when i take them all shopping!!

Snowed here. Was working at a converted barn in middle of nowhere. Managed to get snowed in. Had to get towed outof the lane that led down to barn. Road was covered in about 3cm of snow but the road underneath was frozen solid. Not looking forward to tomorrow morning as I'm due back there!!!

manchester snowed here 4 pm 8pm 12pm light covering throughout.hope it doesnt freeze, or casualty depts will be busy, poor oaps hips etc

Hmm, looks cold out. No snow though, was hoping to wake to a snow covered vista.

We've had some over night, the minor roads are leathal at the moment.

On my way through town this morning I've seen for the first time ever the old comedy sketch of a car sliding down a hill with no driver.

I kid you not on a slope was a 07 plated red astra sliding down the hill with nobody in the car all wheels locked & not turning, with a bloke hanging on to the top edge of the bonnet by windscreen trying to stop the car & a woman running & slipping down the hill after the car & bloke.

The car after clattering into stationary cars trying to get up the same hill & causing 3 more to slide down the slope, all came to rest in a group on the main road at the T junction at bottom of the slope.

More snow predicted today & down to -5 with windchill here.

Blinking Heck M.

The snow is still here. Freezing tempuratures of -5

A little more snow overnight. Very disappointed by the efforts of the snow plough and gritters. I wouldn't have got to work in a 2 wheel drive vehicle.

The road down to the surgery was sheet ice with a line of abandoned cars who had failed to get up the hill.

Better now. One of our farmer's daughters has crashed her car (nor badly). Saw someone else pour a kettle of boiling water over the windscreen and it smashed :D

was showing minus 7 at 12.30am this morning on my temp thing outside :(

Left bedroom windows on latch all day and evening too... so ......cold in there lol :_|

We live in the open too and got a really icy wind :(

I see people do that all the time - And it amazes me to their Umm, Stupidity?

There is a chap across the road from us who who is employed by the local council (Parks dept) and he does it all the time to his council van. And he always mounts the kerbs!

Mind you, he mounts the kerb etc in his own car and only ever has them for a maximum of 4-6 Months. :_|

It has been blowing an Icy cold wind down here too Mate. :_|

Its hot here in sunny Birmingham , must be in the 80s, tarmac melting on the roads, took the afternoon off today and had a barby on the beach , watching bronzed bikini clad babes cavorting in the sand.GuinnessGuinnessGuinnessGuinnessGuinness

Strange though, the tide seemed to be a long way out. ;) ; )

i use a kettle to de-ice my windscreen. its always cold water though! (easiest thing to use to get water to outside)

despite the fact it started snowing yesterday morning, the snow last night/this morning seems to have taken the council by complete surprise, and i havent seen any gritters so far!
