To remain in the EU ? I think we have to stay TBH . I'm hoping Cameron gets his changes made , at least he's done his best .
I remember the original referendum , all we were told was , " Its just so we can drop all the trade restrictions between borders and deal within a larger market , a Common Market. "
No one intimated that Brussells would be making our laws and telling us what to do & not to do, no one envisiged struggling countries joining the EU so the could all come to Britain , draw benefits , send child allowance back to their own country etc .
Thats money we have paid in & they take out .
I listened to a financial expert on Radio 5 who described leaving the EU as financial suicide , the difficulties of doing it were horrendous and would cost fortunes.
The country is one payday away from bankruptcy , hence all the cut backs the councils are ordered to make , NHS failing , ( should be funded by the lottery) , no aircraft carriers , do a tour of duty in Afgahn , come home to redundancy.
We made our bed now we need to lay in it , there is virtually no Commonwealth now to trade with , and its too far away , and we can't even emigrate there unless they consider us useful citizens , so, what to do , 51st state of the USA ? Go it alone ? Not a hope , we now drag along thousands of non contributors to the economy , our own backsliders who never work , never will, plus thousands from far flung countries , all sending their money orders out of the country on benefit day , ( it never leaves the Post Office door ) And everyone too frightened to speak out .
What was the question ? :C Ah EU ....better to be in the tent Part Peeing out than outside the tent peeing in .
