My latest Screwfix Electrifix catalogue landed on the mat.

In it, is a voucher to collect a free power Bank Portable charger.  Must be collected in person at your local branch on presentation of the voucher.

So what is it? There's no description and just a small picture of a cylindrical object.

What will it charge and from what source?

More importantly, is it worth a 50 mile round trip to collect it?

I think my missus is going into town at thwe weekend, I will send her into Screwy's to get it.

If it turns out to be of no use to me, there's always ebay.

That looks alarmingly similar to the EE one they started handing out last year, and subsequently started recalling last year too.

It's nothing like the EE one.... we had 3 of them,,,, took them back and had 3 x £20 vouchers for their online shop :)

This one is more like an oversized lighter

Thanks for posting the picture. It's certainly not worth going out of your way to get, but if SWMBO is passing by I might get her to call in and see if they have any left.

Up here the turnover is low.  Remember that offer on a cheap fully populated Wylex board with some rcbo's a short while back?  They had only 2 in stock, but they still had one more than 2 weeks later when we were going that way.
