i must admit i didnt think the thread would be about snow.

I was in cardiff all weekend they had next to nothing was rather worrying when it was snowing and being that far from home.

Spent Saturday-this morning in Scarborough, they'd had 3-4" when we arrived. This in turn became slushy ice.

For anyone that knows Scarborough, there are a lot of hills, and anything worth doing is..up/down a hill. Not the most enjoyable weekend. headbang

To top it off, we got back home and there's no ice/snow in sight.

Unbelievable amount of ice this morning, i had to walk the kids to school as the roads were really icy but saying that the pavements were no better, i think we slipped about 5 times each!

It was very slushy, and very slippery! Plenty of people ending up on their backs, one poor lass took one step out of her hotel and fell.

Didn't pick the best weekend for a break.
