hello there people i am considering taking the solar panel pv course and then trying my luck at doing it as buisness, i am a spark but looking for a new direction, has anyone any advice plus or negative welcome, cheers

hi i was just looking for some info on the solar side of this buisness i am new to it all with no elec background so i was just wanting to know wots the firststep i take

I have just enrolled on the C&G 2399 course, after that I will join a MSC scheme provider. ian

olci you'll also need, Part P and 17th edition ifyournot a sparky already, its worth getting a roofer to fit the panels and you do the connections to the circuit. Fitting the panels is the worst/trickest part.

Certainly can. I roped in a builder friend to help with the roofing side and once he got the concept the roof brackets flew in!! Care with the cabling is important, and sizing array to inverter is critical to make the system work properly.

Not sure where u are based but heard that Bracknell & Wokingham College are running "An Introduction to PV" courses for electricians, you may want to get in touch with them. Hope it helps.

Designing the most effecient system is the key, ensuring you don't make false promises!

o.k cheers i'm based in birmingham and not sure which course i should pursue anyone any knowledge on c+g 2372 ? cheers
