Solar/Wind, would it be worth it

Not got a clue about solar so just looking for opinions if it would be worth it.

I have a list of big-ticket projects I’m doing or would like to do before I retire in the next 5 years. One would be installing solar/wind.

My problem is I live on the ground floor of a tenement, I have a small area of my own garden to the back. It is East facing and the sun disappears over the building by about 2.

I recon I could get 4 to 6 panels on the back wall and 4 to 6 on the shed roof. I was also thinking 1 or 2 of the small wind turbines you can get.

Would I generate enough to make a difference

Wind turbines are basically useless unless you have clear ground around them to provide uninterrupted air flow.

Panels will do something for you, but not a great deal in the circumstances you describe.
