Set off for this job on Tuesday , on the south side of the city , about 20 miles....2 hours ! Motorway closed due to serious accident so pull out of my road ..... gridlock .

Back tonight via M5 ...Oh No !

I just think what a crowded country we live in and all the governments since the '50s have insisting on adding to it . The M5 tailback was caused by a broken down truck at J10 of the M6.

The earlier gridlock near my house was caused by a poor soul coming off his motorbike on the M6 .

What the hell is London like FFS!!!?

Bit of an obsession I'm afraid , getting fed up spending hours trying to travel a few miles . Theres no rapid public transport investment in the Midlands other than a Metro train to Yam-Yam Land .

Well London, took me 1.5 hrs to do 10 mile @5pm, took me 40 mins to do 14.5 mile @8.30pm.

That's London folks!!

I was going to mention..... but someone has already said it.

I travelled the grand total of 14 miles yesterday. I think it took me 20 minutes, only because part was in a 30 mph limit.

That doesn't count the time I stopped to look at some poor sod trying to recover his boat that had come off it's mooring and is on the beach.
