Not the Pythonesque stuff , the electronic stuff.

I notice over this week a large amount of spam appearing in our BT email address "Spam box"    like 15 per day .

Meanwhile , on the "business" email , the pleas contiue from Nigeria etc. asking for  bank acc. details .   Also I seem to have a large number of distant relatives leaving me huge amounts of dosh after being killed in road crashes.  They all seem to to gone to Africa.

Seems strange that both Kerch & myself have relatives roaring round Africa , and crashing into each other by the looks of it .

I also have accounts at banks I've never been to and they all have "bonuses" and  " overpayments " to pay me but strangely , don't seem to know my account numbers.

I don't know about you,,, but I must be even luckier...

What with my constant HMRC rebates ;)

Oh yes,,,

Bank account logins for banks I've never had an account with

PPI

Accident injury claims

African and Middle Eastern relatives wanting to transfer $300,000,000 into my account and give me 10% for the inconvenience

....all of them, but I've only had PPI phone calls up to now

Don't forget about the Indian accented phone call stating they are from Microsoft and that it has been discovered you have a virus on your computer and if you type in this command they will get rid of it

The answerphone gets shut of most of 'em .

The last Indian accented guy named Michael or David  I said I have no computer  , " Oh yes you do " he snapped .  " I have your details in front of me "

Bit worrying sometimes.

Actually get MORE nuisance phone calls since we went on the telephone preference list with BT than ever before!

When I get the clearly Indian guy calling saying his name is John, Nigel, Brian, Christopher or some other typically English name and he then asks for ME by name I say that it's not me and in fact my name is Rajesh Ramayan Koothrappali.

I've generally had them laugh or put the phone down. I did this one evening and give the bloke his due he went "OK, good evening Mr Koothrappali!" and then carried on with his patter. Well sussed!

I had one recently from some dodgy outfit claiming that my gold membership had nearly ran out and id have to go and fork out for a new one ;)
I tell the spammers that i will have to take them through security....ask them their mothers maiden name and the breed of the first animal they had sex with!

Just looking at Dobbo's signature ........ made me think , if I was rewiring the universe  and there was a nail sticking up on the moon of a small planet in a solar system in a galaxy  100,000,000 light years away on the edge of the universe where after that planet there was nothing for ever and ever , just empty space stretching to eternity ......................................   my cable would get hooked up on it . :(

Heard this the other week, made me think about it http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-23869462

I seem to be eligable for a few of those rebates too... ;) funny that.

Also had emails from "PayPal" a few times:

"Dear PayPal Customer

A charge of £35.99 GBP was made to Facebook. from your account.

If you haven't authorized this charge, please cancel the payment and get a full refund." Followed by a link.

Nice try, however my monthly statement from PayPal says something different :)
