Think the op disappeared anyway, I offered to go and have a look at it for him, he said yes, I asked him for contact details, no response.

Apologies for not getting back sooner was nice of you to offer to come round and try and solve this however I managed to get an electrician it was the transponder cheap job £40 pounds. Guy said the one from Screwfix wasn't doing the job so it was the wrong one purchased and that seems to have been where the problem was. Thanks for everybody who took time to reply.
