Anyway!
back to the point in hand.....
...... but in the oil and gas industry knives are big no no. For about 3 years I secretly kept my trusted stanley t***** in my side pocket of my boiler suit and used when the coast was clear.........
I have decided this is totally unfair to Stanley knives!!
There must surely be some EU legislation to protect all those poor unassuming hard working Stanley knives out there..?
They must have equal rights to be in the tool box along with the screwdrivers, cutters and pliers!!! ; \
Consider the case of
Stanley 99E real name "Eric"....
thrown out on the scrap heap in the prime of his life...
many more cuts still waiting to be made by that blade!
A wife... two penknives and a snap-off blade to support...
how is he going to keep his family sharp and to the point..
not blunted from then rejection that this situation causes? :|
I suggest we should all stand by our blades and support them!
petition parliament....
lets have "National Knife Day" when all tasks are carried out .....
'only using knives'!!!
all other tools and implements to be left in the box for one day...
Give the Stanley Knives of the world there rightful place again
we will have a special procession for the "Stanley Veterans NON retractable" blades,
with a 'Swiss Army Knife' guard of honour.......................

oh erh...
Welshy? I need some more medication...........
