As some of you know I have been getting grief with my T Mobile phone because of poor coverage. I live on an island in N Wales and the best network for coverage is O2. I want to get a new phone which is known for being good at making and receiving calls in a poor area. Although O2 is OK there are areas on the island where coverage is patchy.

he gets everywhere that bloke

does he have his own network ?????

I had a SE K800i which always seemed able to pull in a good signal on o2

are you after a 'normal' phone, or an all singing all dancing one?

personally, I think ordinary phones seem to have a better signal in comparison,

although apple did do a software upgrade on the iPhone to make it 'seem' like you were getting a good signal. they just upped how many bars were showing :slap

Well, I can cross LG Optimus one and Nokia N8 off the list as possible contenders. My old trusty Nokia 2720 works well and shows plenty of signal when the other supposedly 'smart' phones have none. I will keep looking....

How about a Nokia 2720,,, I've heard you get a great signal on them ;) ; )
heres the thing the 2720 works fine. even has blue teeth. but camera etc not very good, little space for storing files etc all in all quite basic BUT it works. I could do with a better camera as its handy in our job to take a pic of something pre dismantling so you can put it back together again with ref to the pic instead of having to make drawings. handy for taking pics to put on here too! But some of the smart phone apps are handy too. so the 2720 great for talking and texting (ie the things that used to be important in a phone) but limited in other ways.

what about one of these?
