swa from 1 building to another

hello chaps,

i am working on a barn and stables, they have put 16mm swa in to the barn and taken 1 from the barn to the stables, whats the best way of joining the swa? i was hoping not to use the cu in the bard as i didnot want to trip the rcd in the barn from the stable (if you can understand that)

can i put a 3pole henly in a ip rated box?

or should i get a 3 way cu

both buildings will have a garage unit with rcd.

it will be fed from a 100ma s type as its a tt

no sorry noz,

cable goes to (or will) a cu in the barn, there is another going from the barn to the stable.

so 16mm from house to barn and on to the stable, so i need a cu in the barn and a cu in the stable

they do work better when you are splicing into an existing cable and not trying to join 3 cables together

what about terminate into c/u on both armoureds and lin into main incoming iso or rcd, as long as the one going to stables is same size ie 16mm, and a c/u put in stables i cant see a problem with that.
