Hi all was just wondering if anyone knows if and where I can get ahold of a nylon/plastic SWA gland instead of the normal brass ones? its for a 3 core 4mm2 cable.AndyGuiness Drink
Why not use a standard nylon gland. why not brass anyway?

Batty its for the non earthed end of a TT install to Me shed is all. Just trying to do the best job I can.AndyGuiness Drink
Tlc sell glands although I have started to buy them from my wholesaler they do the nylon ones that seem to go from 20 up to 32 mm and they are a lot cheaper than sf and tlc.

I think you are supposed to use nylon insulating rings, either side of whatever they are going through.

Surely the CU will be insulated anyway, therefore standard gland but no earth lug?
Prefer not to have another earth present in the same CU - check out Denmans new range of SWA glands they're nylon so id you don't connect earth it does what you say above.
