Export metering question

Using my my Eddi app I can see we exported 56 kWh last month so that would equate to about £8.40

How would they measure the export? We don’t have a SM

I think they would want to install a SM to allow flexible tariffs

supposed to, as well as imports at different times of day for flex tariffs.
