There again if you mount the unit upside down under a shelf then it is the correct way round.

This is how it was found: 1G socket (downstairs ring) on the wall behind the LHS cupboard. This fed, via flex, the upside down surface mount socket in the photo above (used for gas hob and leccy oven off the "double plug"). Then from the back of this surface mount, flex to another socket for a fridge at the other end of the units:
