Anyone done a firmware upgrade on an old tablet?
My boy has an old 10" Archos Arnova 10 G2 running Gingerbread 2.*. Seems here you can upgrade it to 4.*:

As an aside I just picked up a brand new Prestigio Multipad 10.1" tablet which will take a 64GB SD card for the princely sum of £65 in Rymans on clearance. Running Android, has Bluetooth etc. Pleasantly surprised tbh. Planning to use it as the "kitchen tablet". Idea is to rip all the wife's CD's and put them on it linked to a Bluetooth ceiling speaker(s).
Anyone suggest a decent "jukebox" type app. Ideally would just have the album artwork and artist names in alphabetical order that she could scroll through. A random play facility would be great too, to play songs from across all the albums.
Cheers
