Hello chaps,

was looking at a cu change today, 16mm tails 100A fuse normal thing so i need to upgrade the tails.

then i saw that the tails from the fuse to the meter ar 16mm so is there any point in me upgrading?

and why do the dno put an 100A fuse with 16mm tails in the first place?

thanks

paul

Paul I always upgrade as a matter of course from meter to cu at least that way your side is up to standard.Batty
Do you open the meter up to fit them? or henley block?

Few others doing it then i take it. :) makes me feel better about it lol
With the french company in my area you have no chance of getting them out, it takes them over a day in an emergency. So I upgrade tails from meter and that way my side is up to speck reseal meter job done.

are you sure its a 100A fuse? many fuseholders are rated to 100A, and have 100A stamped on the outside, but often only have a 60 or 80A fuse
