why are you re-connecting?
only people who can legally re-connect metering is the Electric supplier. Probably better off with a new dual tariff meter anyway. How long ago was it disconnected?

Out of interest Mur, where you swaid by the advertising blurb around all these expensive electric heaters, like Rointe, that claim to be really efficient and save lots of money? It would be very interesting to know how much this advertising is wrong.

So you rip out the off peak supply and the storage heaters that are designed to use cheap rate overnight electricity, store it in the heaters and release the heat during the day.
You install in their place "24 hour" heaters, which are presumably panel heaters that they can turn on or off at any time of day, using electrcity at the PEAK rate.
And both you and the customer us surprised the cost of heating the house has gone up? :C :shakehead

I put some in a cottage a few years ago for a landlord... A couple of years later I get a call off the Tennant asking if I can test property as they've had a £3k electric bill on top of their £100pcm, when they left the property..
