Try Reds10 Ltd. if you're a trainee in the Greater London area looking for an apprenticeship.

They work with many London boroughs to find placement opportunities with contractors local to you.

Also, if you don't want to move colleges, you don't have to; and even if you haven't got a training provider,

they can allocate and pay for one for you, until you obtain the minimum qualifications of being a bona fide electrician.

I've applied and been interviewed for an apprenticeship which will last until I'm fully qualified.

Waiting for a callback currently.

They're always looking for trainees to put through the process :)
