Todays and the next couple of day job involves replacing a consumer unit, upgrading the main earth, PEB's and also replacing all the accesories... there's a couple of other things to do aswell...
Anyway heres what I found...

they used the CPC as the strapper!!!
Sorted it out in the end to 1 gang 2 way + switch for outside lights at 1 position..
While looking t a few other things I've found an electric fire without local isolation and what I think are a couple of spurs (yet to confirm).. and the floor is laminate and they will not lift it.
There are only 3 circuits in the house at the moment - sockets, lights & shower.... cooking and heating is gas!!
What would you do??
a) Just replace the accesories and note the problems on the cert
B) Add a switched fused spur in the electric fire flex and note other problems
c) Split the ring to 2 x 20A radials
