I have a customer requiring a towel rail in a bathroom with no radiator in it

he is wanting this to provide the heating

what is the minimum wattage you would use

size of bathroom approx 2m x 2m and it needs to go under the window

any suggestions

cheers

If it's got to go under a window, I'd imagine you're going to be restricted on the size of the towel rad and therefore restricted for the output. Also leccy towel rads take quite a while to heat up. So I would suggest a low power leccy element in the towel rad with a timer and a wall mounted (or plinth mounted if there is any) fan heater for "on demand" heating when required.

Thats what i thought,,,,it wont be enough on its own

asked to quote the job friday with the plumber ripping bathroom out tuesday

he quoted the job 4 weeks ago !!!!

doesnt leave me much time ......

i suggested that but they were not interestedi have found this towel rail but not sure it will be enough

my other problem is the nearest ring cable is 4m away,,,,,total pain and the only place to have the rcd fcu is in an adjacent room
There is no way a 120 watt towel rail will warm a room that is 2x 60 watt light bulbs no chance.
