I have had Tysoft Easycert for a few years now (and I like it)

I emailed them before the summer holidays (June) and was told the update to the BS7671 certs would be out around this time

Does anyone have any info?

I had an email back from them today. The update should be out in December !!!!!!!!!!!!!
#It's a bit crap, in my opinion. It's not as it the amendment was a big surprise.

Their mantle is slipping

Until now my biggest complaint was the pop up screen every time we use easycert reminding us our after-care contract has expired and did we want to renew it. I have been clicking no for 3 years now and when complained to Tysoft was told hard luck, its there.

MY biggest complaint is the limitation of DBs - and apparently they`re not interested in sorting that out, either.........

Think I may change systems, if we`re going to continue to have large PIRs

Aye.

We do PIRs on commercial hotels (there is a previous comment regarding this), and you are limited to a maximum number of boards (from memory, about 26), after which it won`t allow you to include further DBs - the ONLY option is to write a second cert, and append it to the first (means you have to disable page numbering, and write `em all by hand).

PITA mate - I spoke to Brian, but he apparently can`t do anything about it :C

After the comments above I don't think I'll bother lol :)
easier printing your own

dont know if its still the same, but when i tried it a few years ago there is a note on all printouts saying '14 day evaluation' or something like that. no good for then giving to customers so trial got abandoned after the first certificate i put on it
