unemployeed and trying to stay motivated.

Hey everyone,

I graduated trade school almost a year ago and forgot a lot of stuff I have learned. I almost gave up on the electrical field because of not finding a job and completely not knowing 3/4 of the stuff I learned in school (what a waste). I ended up getting a job at an amusement park for a seasonal "lamp lighter" which I got some hands on experience working with ballast, running wire and installing alarms. Well now I'm about to get laid off and ill have to look for another job. I got my motivation back and now not doing any electrical work is going to be a downer. I want to stay with it and gain experience. What should I do while unemployed to stay motivated and gain experience?? I think this forum is great for one ... Thank you.

J I am in a situation similar to you, why not ask family and friends of they have anything that needs doing? bread and butter electrics is not hard to remember when you start getting back into it.
