upgrading tails

hello chaps,

when on a cu change, if tails need upgrading is it ok to put a henly block in and go from 16mm out of the meter to 25mm to cu? or do the dno need to replace asap?

If the existing job hasn't already blown up or caught fire...

then there is probably not too much urgency to get the whole length made 25mm!!

either leave sufficient to terminate fully later and do as you say with Henley's..

or some may suggest

If the seals are already lose and you consider yourself safe and competent to do so

terminate in an appropriate manner and organise correct sealing at your earliest convenience!

I couldn't possibly comment though!

depends on what size the dno main fuse is will determine if you need the tails upgraded

if your already isolating the tails for your henly, then 25mm out of the henly, so basicaly you have pulled the fuse and running new 25mm cable, then why not replace the lot and not bother with the henly, or put an isolator on if you want
