The wife was talking to one of the daughter's school friends. Asking her how Christmas was and did she have lots of presents and chocolates she said on the lines of it was great but that the "chocolate tasted funny" before running off. 

My missus mentioned it to the kid's mum. Apparently the elderly grandmother had bought the kids "special" advent calendars.......from Pets At Home!

Took the kid's mum 4 days to realise!
