i was wondering if any one who has a caddy and has the handbook.

i havent got one, im after the location of the power steering fluid bottle and brake fluid.

im getting a squeal which seems worse when turning, so was thinking the fluid is low or pumps gone. was going to fill it up but cant see which is which (neither are marked - that make it obvious). have looked at levels and neither seem too low.

anyone else had these symptons - and got it fixed.

cheers wayne

squeal could be aux belt? does the sound change with revs?

brake fluid will be on driver side at the back of the engine, on top of the brake system

power steering could be quite a few places

as Andy says, squeal is likely to be aux belt slipping on the steering pump. Fluid reservoir will have a hose leading to the steering rack or the pump itself. Brake fluid rervoir will be fixed to or close to the servo (big round metal thing)

I have a Caddy, but it is quite new.

When do you get the noise?

I'll try to remember in the a.m. to have a look.

Does it change when the steering is on full lock?
