Started today, slowly on building two websites, never done this before!

Really, never.

Have put some templates up in RVsitebuilder OK.

Have got some headers in, one site we want to put a blog & a gallery on.

When I try this I get "database errors".

Any suggestions?

I'll try again later with just the blog or the gallery and try to get the exact error & post that.

Thought perhaps that was the case, already have one db only one allowed, so created "sub" db's.

Got the name, user name & pw.

Added a blog page, and specified the db details & get:

>>Sorry,< The "Database Based Component" requires 1 database.<

  • >Sorry,< The "Database Based Component" requires 1 database.
Suspect that the db was not created.

Will try with using the existing db, will it be OK to keep everything in the same db?

Thank you Cloud9, I have managed to sort the DB issue, but in doing so I have created a php issue!!!

Working on that now.

Working on the Z site first.

NO sorry boss RV, I'm just trying to get the error displayed now so I can post it and creating a new project just in case that fixes it, now I know how to connect to the DB.

Created a new project got rid of the php error!

Now to re-connect to the db already in cpanel.

Hope the weather up there is better than it was for us......................

Socked in above 500ft :(

( nearly went into Electric Mountain instead - 0-lots of gigawatts in 12 seconds!!!!!)

OK, tried to upload a load of pics to the gallery on one of the sites via webdisk, can access the disk & see all folders but can't get access to the gallery folder.

Not sure how to ftp them up.

Any one got suggestions please?
