i will be finishing my 2330 level 2 in four weeks time, once ive got my quals what actually am i? im certainly not a qualified electrician.

either an unqualified electrician (can`t work, as you HAVE a qualification) - Yippee!!!!!

OR

A qualified "something else" - unelectrician maybe??? :^O

we got told told at college that our status is 'technical electrician' i cant find anything to back this up though, maybe they said it to make us feel good. in saying that its scary to even suggest calling some of the class anything associating them with an electrician. ill be studying for my level 3 soon but not as an apprentice so after that does this still make me a technical electrician..

1. Trainee

2. Senior Graded Electrical Trainee

3. Electrical Improver

4. Electrician (or equivalent specialist grade)

5. Approved Electrician (or equivalent specialist grade)

6. Technician (or equivalent specialist grade)
