A radial circuit wired in 2.5mm2 PVC singles fails an insulation resistance test between live conductors. A continuity test reveals a reading of 0.67 Ohm, how far along the length of the circuit is the fault?

Are you 100% sure there is nothing connected or a neon in circuit although they would not normally show up on continuity

A neon drawing 343A?

0.67/0.0741 = 9M divide by 2 so 4.5M
Its 7.41ohms/Km

0.67/0.00741 = 90.4M divide by 2 so 45.2M

It may be a little less than that as you could have a bit of resistance on the terminations.
